About the event
As part of Bodø Pride 2026, the museum is hosting several events, opening the program with a trans café and a guided exhibition tour.
In connection with the ongoing exhibition When the Body Says Yes by melanie bonajo, the Northern Norwegian Art Museum in Bodø has transformed its museum café into a queer bar. The bar was developed in collaboration with the artist, scenographer Théo Demans, and Skeivt Arkiv.
On Wednesday, June 10, from 5:00 PM, we invite you to a Trans Café and a guided tour of the exhibition When the Body Says Yes with curator Liv Brissach, followed by a conversation.
The event is open to people who identify as trans, intersex, non-binary, or gender diverse.
