About the event

Every Thursday leading up to summer, the museum will be open until 8:00 PM. This Thursday, the extended opening hours offer several exciting activities for both children and adults:

Sissel fra Husflidslaget viser hvordan man lager perlebroderi. Drop-in.. Verkstedet er gratis.

Kl. 17:30, 18:30 og 19:30
Kunstbingo i utstillingen «Adelsteen Normann: Impresjonisten fra nord».
Inkludert i inngangsbilletten.

Print ’n pour – et kreativt verksted med begrenset antall plasser. Kan forhåndsbookes.
Pris: kr 250,- (inkluderer materialer og inngang til utstillingen).

5:00 PM–7:45 PM
Sissel from the Husflidslaget (Traditional Handicraft Association) will demonstrate how to make bead embroidery. Drop-in.

Art Bingo in the exhibition “Adelsteen Normann: The Impressionist from the North”.

Café Adelsteen
The café is open and serves toast, the city’s best waffles, and homemade tomato soup with bread.

On October 4th, we opened the doors to a grand exhibition that breathes new life into one of Northern Norway’s most significant artists! Adelsteen Normann (1848–1918) was a pioneer of Norwegian landscape painting and a vital bridge between the dramatic nature of Northern Norway and the European art audience.
