Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum and the Arctic Philharmonic invite you to a free lunchtime concert in the museum’s beautiful venue in Bodø. You’ll hear the Arctic Philharmonic’s wind quintet perform music by August Klughardt.

The Adelsteen Museum Café is open from 11:00. Here you can enjoy freshly brewed coffee and something to eat both before and after the concert. The concert itself is free and performed inside the exhibition Adelsteen Normann: The Impressionist from the North.

On October 4th, we opened the doors to a grand exhibition that breathes new life into one of Northern Norway’s most significant artists! Adelsteen Normann (1848–1918) was a pioneer of Norwegian landscape painting and a vital bridge between the dramatic nature of Northern Norway and the European art audience.
