Creative Workshop: Embroidery on Postcards

What does nature mean to you? We will be inspired by this question and by 19th-century landscape paintings, and embroider our own elements onto postcards featuring motifs from the exhibition “To Nature” (Til naturen).

We will provide postcards, needles, and embroidery threads in various colors. An educator will be available from 1:00–3:00 PM to demonstrate simple embroidery techniques.

It’s free, drop-in, and open to everyone!

If you arrive at 1:00 PM, we will take a short visit to the exhibition to look at Peder Balke’s painting “North Cape” (1845), before heading down to the first floor to begin the workshop.
