Join us for a creative Sunday workshop at Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum in Tromsø on June 21!

Using paint, flowers, and leaves, we will explore how nature itself can become art. Here, you can create prints, patterns, and images, or simply let the shapes of nature speak for themselves.

The workshop is inspired by "Girjegumpi", Joar Nango’s nomadic library, located on the museum’s first floor. Nature and natural materials are central to the installation. This Sunday, we follow in his footsteps by using the nature around us, and we have gathered both fresh and dried flowers and leaves. All the plants have been collected from our local surroundings and are given new life through creativity, paint, and printmaking.

If you arrive at 1:00 PM, you can also join a short introduction to "Girjegumpi".

The workshop is free, suitable for all ages, and open as a drop-in activity from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
