About the event
Be among the very first to experience the exhibition When the Body Says Yes. We invite you to an exclusive preview featuring a guided tour and an in‑conversation inside the exhibition with artist melanie bonajo and curator Liv Brissach.

Through three works, bonajo explores how touch, bodily contact, emotions, and intimacy can function as counterforces to a contemporary epidemic of loneliness. The works examine how technologically driven and consumer‑based structures affect our ability to connect with one another, while proposing alternative ways of restoring connection and a sense of belonging.

The exhibition is on view April 30 – October 25, 2026.

Double Exhibition Opening in Bodø – April 30!

For the first time, Britta Marakatt-Labba’s 24-meter-long embroidery Historjá is shown in Bodø. This monumental work conveys Sámi history through the artist’s rich, detailed, and distinctive visual language. At the same time, melanie bonajo’s (they/them) exhibition When the Body Says Yes opens, featuring three video installations that explore the body, intimacy, and belonging in a digital age.
