Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum warmly invite you to the opening of Maritea Dæhlin's first solo exhibition "A-FI-SA. But it might not be tomorrow"

Join us at Nordover Art Centre, Longyearbyen, Svalbard, for the opening weekend! Both the opening and the following artist talk will be held in English.

OPENING WEEKEND AT NORDOVER ART CENTRE:

Saturday 27. september, 18:00 – OPENING
Grand opening, food and refreshments. The artist and curator will be present.

Sunday 28. september, 14:00 – ARTIST TALK
Maritea Dæhlin will be in conversation with curator Liv Brissach and artist Bianca Hisse.

About the exhibition:
For her exhibition, Dæhlin has created the immersive moving image installation "A-FI-SA", which takes the viewer on a meditative journey between Longyearbyen, Svalbard and San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico. With transgenerational memory at its heart, the exhibition explores ritual, place and identity, and asks whether it is possible to find healing and playful connections to the past and future through the interconnectedness of bodies, gestures and landscapes.
