About the exhibition
This exhibition explores artworks from the museum's collection in a span from the 19th century until today, depicting sceeneris from Svalbard in the North to Japan in the East.

Artists have through all times been concerned with nature and portrayed it in various ways. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the nature was often perceived as wild and magnificent, at a time when it was more untouched by humans. Today, many people are worried that humans are  causing climate changes and what the consequences may be.

The title of the exhibition is taken from Tomasz Boncza Ozdowski's work Watch Out - an Angry Stone, which shows a stone placed in a cage, in a construction created by humans.
