About the event
Do you want to be among the first to visit Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum in Bodø? - On the opening day from 11 am to 2 pm, you can explore the opening exhibition "Everything speaks. Stories in motion", meet the curators, get to know the newly renovated building, and participate in creative activities in Festsalen. We offer small refreshments in the café.
The opening day is free of charge
Due to limited space in the exhibition area, you must collect a free ticket. To ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to visit us, we invite the public in pools. You can choose between the times 11am, 12pm and 1pm, and the visit lasts 45 minutes.

The exhibition shows a selection of artworks from the museum’s collection from the 19th century to the present day, by artists with northern Norwegian, Sámi, Norwegian and international backgrounds. The juxtaposition of historical and contemporary works brings new perspectives and stories into the collection. The assembled artworks explore relevant social issues and convey the cultural diversity of Northern Norway and Sápmi.
