About the event
Vårscenefest 2026 "Old pathways, new horizons" is about performing arts made by and for and with indigenous peoples from various parts of the world, with a special focus on Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland).
The festival program includes several events from there. The large island on the other side of the Atlantic has been a toss-up in world politics for many rounds, and is now back on the move.

What role does performing arts play in society and where is it headed?
