Tromsø

This exhibition looks to the nature of the North through a selection of artworks from the Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum's collection. Common to the artists represented is that they convey nature, but with different perspectives, approaches, and presences.

Høysalen (The high hall) will regularly feature new works from the collection, which primarily highlight female artists from Sápmi and Northern Norway.

The nomadic library of Sámi architecture, initiated in 2018 by the Tromsø-based architect and artist Joar Nango, has now, after several years of travelling around the world, come to Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum where it will stay for the coming years.
