Special concert with Aggie Frost at the exhibition "Layers of Time – Everyday Life in Svalbard"
With live electronics, vocals, effect pedals, and autoharp, Aggie takes you on a musical journey, sharing a personal story about a family separated by great distances — and how the exhibition project weaves together the threads of their shared history.
Location: Inside the exhibition Layers of Time – Everyday Life in Svalbard
Duration: Approximately 30 minutes
From Herta Grøndal’s journey as a young woman to Svalbard, where she met Leif and little Eva was born illegally on the archipelago — to how the family, for more than 15 years, has collected memories, stories, and photographs. All of this is brought together in the exhibition, guided by the steady hand of curator Dr. Charis Gullickson.
Experience how music and storytelling connect past and present, closeness and distance, in an atmospheric and evocative performance.
The event is included in the admission fee and is free for Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum Friends and annual cardholders.
