Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum is taking part in Tromsø Maker Festival 2025!

This year, we're bringing a taste of our current exhibition, Layers of Time – Everyday Life in Svalbard, and inviting the public to a creative and sensory experience where you can create your own layers of time using collage techniques and paper.

The exhibition explores how layers of daily life, nature, culture, and human experience are woven together into unique patterns. At the Maker Festival, we give you the opportunity to interpret these themes through artistic expression and creative exploration.

Come and leave your own traces of time! Whether you're young or old, curious or experienced – we have the materials, inspiration, and space for you to create something truly your own. Join us and discover how art and creativity merge – layer by layer – with Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum at Tromsø Maker Festival!

This event is organized by the Nordnorsk Vitensenter (Science Center of Northern Norway), where Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum is participating as a guest.

The event takes place at Nordnorsk Vitensenter, Hansine Hansens veg 17, 9019 Tromsø.
