About the event

Join us for a special guided tour of "Ligg unna", led by curator Charis Gullickson, on Wednesday. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain unique insights into the exhibition and experience the artworks up close.

Charis Gullickson is a senior curator at the Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum with a PhD in Art History. In her dissertation she examined public art museums in Norway as social actors. Out of this research grew the activist group 'Museer er ikke nøytrale / Museat eai leat neutrálat'. Craft and decolonisation are her main areas of research interest. She has curated numerous exhibitions on Sámi art, along with several publications. Recent curatorial projects at Nordover include exhibitions 'Stay Away: Olaf Storø' and 'Layers of Time: Everyday Life in Svalbard'.

The tour will be conducted in Norwegian, but if English-speaking guests attend, it will be held in English. Co-organised with Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum. We warmly welcome everyone to take part in this inspiring evening with Olaf and Charis!
