About the event
Welcome to the Creative Workshop at the Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum in Tromsø. The motif of nature has long been a central source of inspiration in Northern Norwegian art.
In the exhibition To Nature, we encounter different artistic perspectives on the landscape – from romantic depictions of nature to more personal and poetic interpretations.
In this workshop, you will create your own landscape as a collage. Think about the colors, shapes, and moods you associate with nature in the north: the light, the mountains, the sea, the weather – or perhaps a special place you remember. Cut, glue, and combine your own expressions of nature as you experience it.
If you arrive at the museum by 11:30, you’ll get a unique sneak peek at the artwork that inspired the workshop!
The workshop is free and suitable for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult). Drop-in is from 11:30 to 13:00.
