Kreativt verksted: Lyset i mørket

We are entering the polar night in Tromsø—a time when darkness spreads like a blanket over the city, while the northern sky displays its most beautiful colors. On this first Sunday of Advent, we invite you to a cozy workshop inspired by Otto Sinding’s paintings "From Reine in Lofoten" and "From the Arctic Ocean", shown in the exhibition "To Nature". In the workshop, we will explore the darkness, colors, and light of the polar night using charcoal, chalk, and paint—and create our own images of winter in the north.

The workshop is free and suitable for everyone (children must be accompanied by an adult). It is drop-in from 11:30 to 13:00.
