About the event
Both adults and children collect treasures—perhaps especially at this time of year, when we spend a lot of time outdoors. Maybe we can turn them into something beautiful?
We explore how to combine lovely objects and natural materials into a moving mobile. A mobile is a kind of hanging sculpture that responds to air currents and moves gently. Feel free to bring along things you collect, such as sticks, candy wrappers, shells, or other items you’d like to use (please be careful with bird feathers at the moment due to avian flu). Old feather collections are welcome. We will also provide a good selection of materials, tools, and fasteners.
Welcome to a cozy Sunday workshop open to anyone who would like to join. It’s free, drop-in from 1–3 pm in the Main Hall.
