Creative Workshop: Make Your Own Linocut Print

When working with the materials, ideas often emerge on their own, and it’s exciting to see what happens as you carve into the linoleum blocks. Next, ink is rolled onto the plate and it is run through a press, transferring the print onto paper - a fun and almost magical process.

We begin by finding inspiration in Britta Marakatt-Labba’s remarkable artwork Historja, before moving on to create our own prints.

Welcome to an enjoyable time at the museum! The workshop is free and suitable for youth and adults.
