About the event

Inspired by Maritea Dæhlin’s exhibition "A-FI-SA. But it might not be tomorrow", we invite you to a creative workshop "Make your own mask" where you can make your own mask in the Festsalen at Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum on Sunday, 11 October, from 13:00–15:00.

Cut, glue, shape and decorate, and create your very own expression. Maybe your mask will be mysterious, funny, colourful, scary, or completely different from what you imagined!

"A-FI-SA. But it might not be tomorrow" explores, among other things, rituals, place and identity, and how we can find connections between the past and the future through bodies, movement and landscapes. In the exhibition, you can see both Maritea and her daughter Nina, whose faces are covered in different colours. Feel free to visit the exhibition beforehand and let yourself be inspired!

No registration is required – just drop in anytime between 13:00 and 15:00.
