About the event
Welcome to a Creative Workshop at Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum in Tromsø on February 15.

In her work "The Innocent", Marit Landsend raises questions about the consequences of climate change and whether humans truly take these changes seriously. The ptarmigan’s white winter plumage is meant to provide camouflage and protection during winter. But what happens when climate change warms the planet, resulting in less — or perhaps no — snow?

We will take a look at the artwork in the exhibition "To nature" at 1:00 PM before heading down to the creative workshop space. Here, we’ll have air-drying clay that you can use to make your own ptarmigans or anything else the artwork inspires you to create.

A guide will be available between 1:00–3:00 PM, but you’re welcome to stay and work in the workshop after that as well. Everyone is welcome to join. The workshop is drop-in and free of charge.
