Get into the Christmas spirit at the museum! Welcome to an atmospheric workshop in our beautifully decorated museum. In Adelsteen Normann's day, there was no electricity, so lighting consisted of tallow candles, wax candles, and oil lamps.

We make beeswax candles with a delicious, natural scent that purifies the air. Perhaps it could be a lovely gift for someone you care about?

The workshop is free and open from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in our beautiful, Christmas-decorated banquet hall. The workshop is suitable for young and old alike, and we make two candles per person.

Tip! At 2:15 p.m., we invite you to a guided tour of the exhibition, where our guide will introduce you to the exciting artistry of North Norwegian artist Eilert Adelsteen Normann (1848–1918).
The tour is in Norwegian and requires an admission ticket.
At 3:15 p.m., we offer the same tour in English (duration approx. 45 min).
