Welcome to Christmas at Kvitnesgården! We invite young and old to a day full of true Christmas spirit, warmth, and open hearts – EVERYTHING IS FREE!

Winter weaving – make your own Christmas tree decoration with the Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum

Did you know that many of our modern Christmas traditions come from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol? Or that the juniper tree has its own unique history in Northern Norwegian Christmas traditions?

Come, smell the scent of Christmas, and join us for cozy moments, community, and memories that last!

The event is a collaboration between Framtiden i våre hender, Tromsø Library and City Archives, and Perspektivet Museum, and is supported by the Sparebankstiftelsen Nord Norge and Troms Kraft Sustainability Fund, to ensure that all children and young people have the opportunity to experience the Christmas spirit.
