About the event
Welcome to a collage workshop inspired by the Sámi understanding of nature’s rhythm through eight seasons, on April 26.

We are approaching early summer, and the month of May is just around the corner. In Northern Sámi, May is called Miessemánnu, meaning “the reindeer calf month” — a time when new life appears in nature. This Sunday, we take inspiration from this seasonal transition and explore how northern landscapes, light, and changing seasons can be expressed through layers of paper.

Children, young people, and adults are invited to create their own collages inspired by the natural changes around us. The workshop is suitable for everyone — no prior experience is needed, just a desire to create and explore.

The workshop is free, drop-in from 1:00–3:00 PM, and open to all ages.
