Creative Workshop: Lantern-Making Workshop

Let yourself be inspired by the exhibition “A-FI-SA. But it might not be tomorrow”, which explores themes such as belonging and memories.

Using simple materials such as tissue paper, colours and decorative elements, you can create a lantern that is uniquely your own. Perhaps you’ll be inspired by a memory, a place, a colour or something you’ve seen in the exhibition? Or maybe the idea will emerge as you go.

The lantern workshop is suitable for all ages and is a wonderful opportunity to get creative together with others—whether you come alone, with friends or with family. Once your lantern is finished, it can brighten up dark autumn evenings while also bringing a special memory home with you.

Feel free to bring an empty, clean jam jar from home if you have one. We’ll provide extra jars, tins and inspiring materials.

The workshop takes place from 1:00–3:00 pm. No advance registration is required, and you can come and go as you please during the workshop hours, subject to available space.
