On Tuesday 25 February 2025, we will open the doors to the Northern Norwegian Art Museum Bodø! After a major transformation of the venerable Sparebank building from 1949 at Storgata 40, the Nordnorsk Art Museum can finally open its doors to the public. Right in the heart of the city, we will create an inclusive art museum and contribute to increasing the accessibility of both historical and contemporary art. Now the Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum is finally clearly present with its own arena in Bodø in addition to Tromsø and Longyearbyen. We look forward to your visit, and hope you will be excited. On the opening day, we have free entry!
