After a major transformation of the venerable Sparebank building from 1949 at Storgata 40, Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum can finally open its doors to the public. 

Right in the heart of the city, we are an inclusive art museum and contribute to increasing the accessibility of both historical and contemporary art. Now the Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum is finally clearly present with its own arena in Bodø in addition to Tromsø and Longyearbyen. 

Adjacent to the reception on the ground floor, you will also find our museum shop and Kafé Adelsteen – a cozy meeting place for art and coffee lovers alike.
