Opening of the Exhibition “Adelsteen Normann: The Impressionist from the North”

Normann was a pioneer in Norwegian landscape painting and played a key role as a bridge-builder between the nature of Northern Norway and the European art audience.
The exhibition is a collaboration between the Nordic Institute of Art (NIA) and the Northern Norway Art Museum. The curator is Dr. Knut Ljøgodt from NIA.

Due to limited space, everyone who wishes to attend the official opening at 13:00 must obtain a free ticket.

Program at 13:00
The opening will begin with a speech by Stina Högkvist, Director of the Northern Norway Art Museum, followed by a speech from Knut Ljøgodt, Director of the Nordic Institute of Art. There will also be an artistic performance. Refreshments will be served in the museum café.
The opening program will be held in Norwegian.
THE EXHIBITION IS OPEN TO ALL FROM 14:00–17:00 – FREE ENTRY
From 14:00, the exhibition is open to everyone, no ticket required. Welcome to an inspiring art experience!
