About the event
Join the sewing workshop connected to the “Solidarity Quilt” at the Northern Norwegian Art Museum in Bodø! Create your own patch in solidarity with someone and share a story through embroidery, cutting, or collage.

Create your own patch in solidarity with someone and share a story through embroidery, cutting, or collage. We will serve coffee and tea, and provide fabric, needles, and thread. Participants can make their own small patch, which can either be added to the quilt or taken home. Sit together, share stories, and enjoy the creative process in good company.

Sunday, September 7, 11:30–15:30 – Open Sewing Workshop
Tuesday–Friday, September 9–12, 11:30–16:00 – Drop-in Open Sewing Workshop
The events are free and open to everyone!

About the project:
Solidaritetsteppet was initiated by Ingrid and Astrid Fadnes in 2019 and is made by over 170 activists connected to solidarity work and the Norwegian Solidarity Committee for Latin America (LAG). Each patch carries a story – about a meeting, a person, a struggle, or a slogan – and together they form a larger picture of solidarity.
